Bella Rayne Band
Description
Bella Rayne is a 19-year-old, self-taught guitar phenom from Mendocino who is on a rocket ship to the moon as her captivating musicianship has spread from the western hemisphere to all corners of the country. Bella balances the eye of the tiger with a humble demeanor as she makes the most of every moment on stage. She has the casual swagger of an old soul on this planet doing what she’s meant to do. Her love for the Grateful Dead, 70s psychedelic rock and 90s grunge has been distilled into her own fresh approach, showing how much it pays to have parents with excellent taste in music.
Bella’s laser-focused confidence, poise and guitar chops have made here a regular guest shredder at large. If you follow her on social media, you’ll see the who’s who of heavy hitters she’s shared the stage. These include appearances alongside Allman Betts Family Revival, Melvin Seals & JGB, ALO, Jackie Greene, Oteil Burbridge and members of the Terrapin Family Band. She was even touted as “one to watch” by her idol, Susan Tedeschi. In addition, she has been invited to iconic stages nationwide including The Fillmore in San Francisco, The Orpheum in Los Angeles, Sweetwater Music Hall, The Hamilton in Washington D.C. and even celebrated her 18th birthday with a set on the Prudential stage at Bottlerock Napa Festival. She is among the elite guitarists who have been entrusted to play Jerry’s legendary “Alligator” guitar. Just recently she took another famous guitar for a spin – “Wolf 2.0.”
The Bella Rayne Band is a high-energy, guitar-driven ensemble featuring a young lineup of seasoned musicians filling venues across the country. The Jagger to her Richards is Emerson Rose who brings a truly remarkable level of vocal talent and stage presence. Her voice is as much of an instrument as Bella’s guitar if not more. The supporting cast each are fiery musicians in their own rite. Their sets embody a blend of soulful Southern rock and Grateful Dead reinterpretations. Bella’s own original songs have steadily escalated their presence in the mix.
They have been described as the next generation Tedeschi Trucks Band with an alternative edge and a 70s vibe. With a sound uniquely her own, a growing national presence and a commitment to inspiring the next generation, Bella Rayne is positioning herself not just as a rising guitarist, but as a genuine force in the modern jam-rock scene.
