Belle Churchus - Live at Valentines
Description
Belle Churchus is an up and coming singer songwriter, local to the Northern Beaches in Sydney.
Playing guitar and piano, she takes inspiration from a range of artists, some of which are Gracie Abrams, Taylor Swift, Olivia Dean and Olivia Rodrigo. Belle advertises her genre as indie-pop, however, she doesn't allow this to box her into this singular genre.
She regularly blends genres and explores different sounds. Songwriting has always been Belle's biggest passion as it allows her to express herself in a way that is uniquely tailored to her.
She carefully blends her lyricism and instrumental components of her songs together to create cohesive, relatable and engaging tacks. Whilst Belle writes her songs about unique and personal experiences, she creates comfortability and relatability through this extreme expression of vulnerability.
Belle only started performing for audiences this year and has taken her career from 0-100. She has performed at a range of venues such as Dee Why RSL, Freshwater Brewing Co. and Manly Spirits. Providing her audiences with a blend of her originals and well known covers, she creates an engaging, emotional and fun experience.
This show is a culmination of Belle's musical journey, showcased in an intimate setting.
Tiana Plywaski is supporting. An artist who writes raw, vulnerable songs from personal experience, drawing on influences such as Phoebe Bridgers, Lizzy McAlpine and Gillian Welch.
Across a decade of writing and performing, Tiana has refined a unique blend of folk, pop and soul which showcases not her lyrical craft and delicate vocals. Her songs walk the line between depth and humour, heartbreak and hope, promising an intimate and unmissable performance.
This is an opportunity to see two of the Beaches best rising stars, in a setting that will have you saying "I was there when..."
