Italian Greek Festa! Bellingen Taranta Festival 2024 Opening night

Let’s start the festival in style with an Italian - Greek night! 

Come with the empty belly because the afternoon will begin at the Memorial Hall with an Italian traditional ‘Aperitivo’ *[included in the ticket!]: expect a great variety of goodies and some classic Italian drinks (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) accompanied with live music! A great moment to gather and assist to the opening of this year’s Art Exhibition.

The night will kick off with the music of the amazing  ARIA winner Kavisha Mazzella, singing heartfelt songs in honour of her Italian ancestors.  

From Greece passing through Melbourne a incredible Greek Rebetiko trio led by bouzouki player Con Kalamaras. “The Rebetiko Experience” will delight the audience with music from the Greek cantinas and festive traditional dance tunes. Be ready to learn a few steps and dance along!

The night will finish with a Greek Italian jam with musicians from Santa Taranta and local musos.

More food and drinks will be available through the night.
