Bellingen Taranta Festival - Orecchiette workshop
Have you ever admired those beautiful Italian pasta shapes and thought "I wish I could do that"?Do you want to learn how to prepare "Orecchiette", the traditional Pugliese pasta shape from scratch? Here is your opportunity to do so in a small group led by Francesco Rossano and Isabella Papagna.
The workshop will be hands-on and will include one-on-one tuition to give participants the knowledge and confidence to replicate the dish they will learn at home. Participants will be taught how to cut, roll and shape orecchiette and how to prepare a traditional Pugliese sauce from scratch.
The workshop includes:
- A one hour and half pasta class, learning how to make orecchiette and other shapes of southern Italian pasta and a traditional sauce;
- All necessary equipment provided;
- take your pasta at home or stay and *dine together
