Event description

Join us for Bellingen’s newest Citizen Science activity: The monthly Flying Fox Flyout Count for the Bellingen camp.

 

  • Free Monthly Event

  • Contribute valuable data for conservation

  • Learn from local Flying Fox ecologists

  • Find out about updates on the Bellingen camp

 

Refreshments provided

For ages 10+ - Children 10-14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Numbers are limited – Booking is essential.

Meet at 6pm for a walk to the camp to assess numbers and species present, then at 7pm to align along the bridge for the spectacular fly out & count just after sunset.

You may come from 6 pm or just for the count at 7pm. Please specify when booking.

Please wear closed in shoes and long pants.

All equipment supplied. You may wish to bring your own binoculars.
