Belong Training

Belong training is developed and delivered by lived experience peer workers.

Belong Training is designed to increase capacity to create affirming spaces and practice when supporting and working with LGBTIQIAP+ people. We hope to fill knowledge gaps and increase the confidence and skill of people to work with members of the LGBTIQIAP+ community. The training is 4.5 hours long and will cover:

• Gender
• Pronouns and best practice
• Sexuality
• Intersex
• Health outcomes for LGBTQIAP+ people
• Creating an affirming professional practice

This event is free for individuals that live, work or volunteer in the Brisbane South PHN catchment area.

Light refreshments provided, but BYO lunch. Cafés and shops available in shopping centre.

Parking available in Westfield (free until 3 hours).
