We are delighted to be coming to you live for a special edition of Can We Talk About It?! Podcast as we team up with Black Diasporas for a one-night-only IRL discussion about the nuances of belonging and identity on the unceded lands known as Australia.

The Black Diasporas Melbourne project is an expansion of the BlackDiasporas.com New York City pilot; a digital mapping project that documents experiences of the city as told by people of African heritage. We are working towards creating a platform that has more nuanced African-Australian narratives: life stories that go beyond the usual narrative of tragedy or heroism. The platform will be used to show more full expressions of African-Australian cultural practices, experiences and lives by showing a spectrum of experiences.

Join us as we engage in an interactive panel discussion with three of the exhibit contributors as we unpack the complexities of identity and belonging, becoming and unbecoming. A night not to be missed!
