Belonging Begins With Us: Schizophrenia Awareness Week 2026 is more than an event - it’s a collective statement about who we are and the kind of community we choose to build together.

This community event invites us to come together in recognition, understanding, and solidarity with people who have lived and living experience of schizophrenia and other mental health needs. It’s a chance to move beyond stigma and misconceptions, and instead centre the voices, strengths, and resilience of those too often unheard.

Together, we can challenge stigma and create communities where support is not the exception, but the norm. Because belonging doesn’t happen by chance - it begins with each of us.

Join us for a day filled with connection and community spirit! Enjoy a range of fun activities, delicious food, and the opportunity to explore a variety of mental health stalls and service providers. Whether you’re coming to learn, share, or simply be part of something positive, there’s something for everyone.
