Event description

Beltane Sabbat Workshop and Ritual

Many Wiccans and Pagans celebrate Beltane, like Samhain it is believed to be a time when the veil between the worlds is thin and is believed that this is a good time to contact the spirits or to interact with the Fae. Be careful, if you visit the Faerie Realm, don't eat the food you'll be trapped there.

It honors spring at its peak and the coming summer. If the spring has been a fruitful one, usually the rains have produced rich and fertile earth with verdant green woodlands.

Beltane is the season of maturing life and deep found love. This is the time of vows, handfastings and commitment. The Lord and his Lady, having reached maturity, come together in Perfect Love and Perfect Trust to celebrate the joy of their union. This is a time to celebrate the coming together of the masculine and feminine creative energies.

We will be doing a sacred ritual to honor and call in the energy of the gods & goddeses . We will dressing up as a goddess or god and of course no Pagan celebration is really complete without a meal to go along with it. For Imbolc we will celebrate with foods that come from the earth such as cakes, cherries, dairy, green herbal salads, honey, nuts, oats/oatmeal cakes, red fruits, red or pink wine punch, sweets, and strawberries.
