Bendigo Maubisse Friendship Committee 20th Anniversary

The Bendigo Maubisse Friendship Committee Inc. invites our past members, supporters and community partners to celebrate twenty years of partnership with Maubisse, Timor-Leste.

The evening includes an opening address from Her Excellency Ms Inês Maria De Almeida, Ambassador of Timor-Leste to Australia, and a keynote address from Dr Kirsty Sword Gusmão AO.

We're also delighted to announce that Paulo Almeida and Friends will perform during the evening. A highly regarded Timorese-Australian musician with more than 25 years of international performing experience, Paulo is renowned for music that celebrates Timorese culture, identity and connection.

Hosted by Jonathan Ridnell, the evening will also include historical displays reflecting on twenty years of partnership, opportunities to reconnect with old friends and supporters, and the ceremonial cutting of our anniversary cake.

Light finger food will be served throughout the evening with drinks available at bar prices.

As this is a special anniversary celebration, numbers are limited, and bookings are essential. We encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment.
