BENEATH THE SURFACE - Conscious Connected Breathwork Experience
Description
BENEATH THE SURFACE
A Conscious Connected Breathwork Experience
Join Niina and Estelle for a 2-hour Conscious Connected Breathwork experience, where you’ll have the opportunity to explore the power of your breath while remaining in choice throughout the practice.
So much of our everyday life is spent thinking, planning, doing and moving on to the next thing.
What happens when we create space to move beneath all of that — to slow down, connect with the body and become curious about what we notice?
This is a space to follow your breath and explore what unfolds, while listening to what your body needs. There is no right way to experience the session and nothing you need to achieve.
The experience
We’ll begin slowly; there is time to arrive, have a cup of tea, set an intention and settle into the space before we begin. We’ll move through grounding, meditation and self-connection practices, before beginning the extended breathwork practice.
After the breathwork, there will be plenty of time to rest, integrate and reflect before heading back into your evening.
ARRIVE — tea, intention & journaling
GROUND — meditation & body connection
BREATHE — Conscious Connected Breathwork
REST — space to pause & integrate
REFLECT — journaling & supported reflection
REALIGN — reconnect with what matters
Everybody’s experience is different; you might notice thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, or the need to move. You may also simply experience the practice as time to breathe, be still, and be with yourself. Whatever your experience looks like, you will be supported to listen to your body. You can slow your breath, change your breathing pattern, take a break or stop at any time.
No previous breathwork experience is needed.

FAQs
- What is Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB)?
Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) is an activating breathing practice where we connect the inhale and exhale without a pause between breaths. This continuous rhythm can create shifts in physical sensations, emotions, energy and awareness, with each person experiencing the practice differently.
- What if I feel uncomfortable or want to stop?
You are always in control of your practice.
At the beginning of the session, you’ll be guided to find a resource within your body that you can return to throughout the practice. You can slow down at any time, return to your natural breath, change position, take a break or stop the practice completely.
There is never any pressure to push beyond what feels right for you.
Niina and Estelle will both be present throughout the session to guide and support you whenever needed.
- Will there be hands-on support during the session?
Any physical or hands-on support will only be offered with your consent. You can change your mind at any point during the session.
- Is CCB suitable for everyone?
As CCB is an activating breathwork practice, there are some health conditions and circumstances where it may not be suitable or where modifications may be recommended.
We don´t recommend CCB if you are pregnant or have an existing lung or heart condition, very high blood pressure or severe mental health condition.
You’ll be asked to complete a few short questions so we can make sure the practice is appropriate for you.
If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to get in touch with us before booking.
- What should I bring?
Wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle. Everything else you need for the session will be provided. You may choose to bring your favourite blanket and a pillow to feel as cozy as possible. You may also like to bring your own journal, however this is optional.
- What happens after the breathwork?
We won’t rush you straight out the door. There will be time to rest and integrate your experience, followed by optional journaling and reflection. You can reflect independently or connect with one of us for support.
Our care doesn’t end when the session does. We’ll also check in with you after the experience to see how you’re feeling and offer space for any reflections or questions that may come up.
