FILM:
With permission form Sony Pictures, we present the film Jimmy Carter, Man From Plains, which follows Carter on his 2007 book tour Palestine, Peace not Apartheid, history that fosters provocative questions about our US President who stood for peace and diplomacy. Proceeds of film sales benefit The Alalusi Foundation, providing relief in Gaza.

ART: Art and poster sales by Gazan artists Laila Kassab, Basel El Maqosui, Mohammed Eisa and Reem M. Arkan, including the unveiling of an original Carter portrait by Laila Kassab. Sales will help their displaced families and community.

MUSIC: Special guest, José Neto, Brazilian Guitarist (former guitarist of Harry Belafonte)

With special thanks to Cormac Gorman. 

A discussion will follow with UICC Member Barbara McVeigh one of the founders of the Jimmy Carter Jamboree California initiative in 2017, supported by a State Resolution and many California county proclamations, as well as by the late Russian President Mikhail Gorbachev.

The Alalusi Foundation is a non-profit organization supporting humanitarian and charitable projects in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas. They have relief efforts operating in Gaza.
