Metta Centre and Santi Forest Monastery (https://santifm.org/santi/) are honoured to host Ajahn Brahm for his Sydney tour, 16-18 February 2024. The tour begins with a public talk on the Power of Stillness on 16 February followed by a Day of Practice on the benefits of Stillness led by Ajahn Brahm. On 17 February evening, you can join us for a Gala Dinner as we fundraise for Santi Forest Monastery’s latest project: a suburban nuns’ residence. On 18 February, you can meditate with Ajahn Brahm and listen to his sermons in the impressive Big Cave at Santi Forest Monastery in Bundanoon - a unique opportunity to deepen your practice.
Day of Practice: Spend the day deepening your understanding and experience of the Power of Stillness through the skilful guidance of Ajahn Brahm. Through a series of talks, guided meditations, Q&A sessions, and shared meal, participants will be able to learn how to settle their mind, heal their heart and discover the profound Power of Stillness.
The event is fully catered.

About the presenter: Ajahn Brahmavamso Mahathera (known to most as Ajahn Brahm) is a revered spiritual guide regularly drawing multinational audiences of thousands. He has been a monk for nearly 50 years and a disciple of the famous meditation master Ajahn Chah from Thailand. Prior to becoming a monk, he was a scholar at Cambridge University in theoretical physics. Currently Ajahn Brahm is the Abbot of Bodhinyana Monastery in Serpentine and the Spiritual Director of the Buddhist Society of Western Australia. The BSWA supports Dhammaloka Buddhist Centre, Bodhinyana Monastery, Dhammasara Monastery, and Jhana Grove Meditation Retreat Centre. Ajahn Brahm has rendered extensive service to the Buddhist communities around the world and he is the founding Chair of the Australian Sangha Association, a peak body representing all Buddhist monks and nuns in Australia.
