Like all of the greatest live acts, their sound is ever revolving – responding to the audience and the room, taking bold new turns and venturing into new territory. It was this willingness to grow and develop that led to the band’s infectious debut album, Coming Up For Water, featuring much loved live favourite Top Bunk Trait – garnished in sweet guitar licks and feet-pounding horns.

In addition to their debut album, Benji And The Saltwater Sound System has also released a second EP titled Ripples of Thunder, which has garnered critical acclaim. The EP features a more mature sound that showcases the band's growth and evolution as musicians. With tracks like "Guess It’s Safe" and "Fortune Ate," the EP is a testament to the band's ability to create music that is both powerful and thought-provoking.

Benji And The Saltwater Sound System fuse Pacific flavours with the raw rolling sounds of the Australian Pacific coast. Add to this poignant lyrics and a will to transcend genre and you are part the way there. The band has graced some of the most iconic stages of the country.
