Description
headspace Cannington is collaborating with City of Canning to activate the voices of young people who live, work, study or hang out in the suburb of Bentley.
You will be paid for your time - $50 gift card for 2 hours!
We are inviting young people (18 - 25 years old) to share ideas on:
Safe and fun places to hang out
Type of events you would like to see/attend in your community
What you want in your commuity to feel safe and connected
Save the date for Thursday, 21 May 12pm - 2pm for ages 18-25! (The time allows for us to take breaks and for you to eat free food).

Warm Up & Introduction to Bentley Youth Project
We'll explain the project, what we'll cover today, and what we will do with your ideas
- 12:20 pm - 1:00 pm
Yarning
We'll ask a few questions about your ideas with some examples and brainstorm in smaller groups. - What helps you feel connected in your community? - What events would you like to see in Bentley? (Choose from 4 ideas, with optional 1 new suggestion)

Lunch (Pizza)
- 1:20 pm - 1:45 pm
Yarning
- Who helps you feel connected to young people in your community? What makes them good at connecting you to other young people? - What spaces in the community do you go to, or would like to go to? - What is something your peers are interested in and what activities bring you together?

Wrapping Up
Summary of feedback, plan from here, time for questions, and handing out gift cards ($50).
