Berry Riding Club 2019 Pink Ribbon Funkhana
Event description
Following on from the hugely successful 2018 fundraiser, Berry Riding Club are excited to bring you the next Pink Ribbon Horse Festival Funkhana, raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
With the new section of the Berry Equestrian Centre grounds now fully functional, the Pink Ribbon Horse Festival will be a regular annual event, held in the first half of the year.
Your entry fees are donated to the NBCF, and as such, event ticket purchases are non-refundable. Entries close Wed 27 Mar.
Note that there is a separate ticket booking fee imposed by the ticket website, not the club. By using an online booking platform we are streamlining the entry process, but are unable to avoid ticket fees. We have chosen to use Humanitix as they donate their profits to charity - in this case it's supporting OzHarvest to provide meals for underprivileged school kids.
We do not require you to print a ticket. Competitors will need to collect their entry band, and non-members will be required to sign a waiver, before commencing riding. No wrist band = no entry to the rings.
In the lead up to the event we will publish the ring details and classes. Age groups and classes will be determined by the number of entries. We will have some additional ring classes on offer, and the show jumping and mini x-country course will be running. A body protector vest must be worn for x-country, and that course is unsuitable for beginners.
Volunteers are required for various roles both before and during the event. Start thinking about how you can help out (or rope in a partner/parent/friend or relative).
Dress yourselves and your horses in pink, and join us for a day of horse fun in a fantastic environment. Not a member of Berry Riding Club? Just make sure you add an Event Membership to your ticket. We welcome all levels of horses and riders. We look forward to seeing you there!
