Lineup

Bluhm
Bluhm is a Detroit-based indie dream pop duo building a groundswell. Vocalist and songwriter Claire Bluhm and multi-instrumentalist/producer John Marion craft hazy, intimate synth pop that feels modern while drawing on influences from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. Often compared to artists like The Cranberries, Beach House, Cocteau Twins, and The Marías, their sound blends nostalgia with cinematic textures and understated pop hooks. Bluhm has caught the attention of Spotify’s editorial team with placements on playlists such as Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds Indie, and Indie Chillout. Their music has also received airplay on Sirius XMU, and been featured in films and commercials.

George Montrelle
George Montrelle is a Detroit-based singer and songwriter who bridges soul, pop, and R & B with a hint of rock and hip-hop. His music reflects the city’s pulse—warm, rhythmic, and full of life. Each performance is a blend of powerful vocals, groove-driven energy, and emotion that lingers long after the last note fades.

Monica Notaro & Matt Kysia
Elegance with a flare of spontaneity and nostalgia are the highlights of this ensemble led by Matt Kysia (guitar & vocals) & Monica Notaro (lead vocals). They'll be performing jazzy renditions of great R&B, classic and modern covers backed by a cast of Detroit-local, top musicians

Rockstar
RockStar is a Best of Detroit finalist for Best Cover Band, delivering the ultimate 80s rock experience with the sights, sounds, and high-energy performance of an arena-style show. Featuring iconic hits from legendary bands like Journey, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Poison, and Mötley Crüe, RockStar brings the Decade of Decadence to life. The band has even shared the stage with major acts including Foreigner, Brett Michaels of Poison, and Steven Adler of Guns N’ Roses.

Your Generation in Concert
Your Generation in Concert™ is a Best of Detroit finalist for Best Cover Band and a live multimedia spectacular celebrating five decades of pop, rock, dance, and R&B hits. This dynamic 8-piece band delivers outstanding musicianship, powerful vocals, and an immersive concert-style experience that takes audiences on a musical journey through the soundtrack of their lives. An international favorite for festivals, concerts, and corporate events, the group has shared the stage with major artists including Lenny Kravitz, Flo Rida, Jason Derulo, Sheryl Crow, and Huey Lewis.
