Bethany '23: Finding Jesus, Healing & Hope in seasons of suffering, pain, grief & loss.

Bethany, a town located on the eastern slopes of the Holy Mount of Olives, 3km from Jerusalem and also the home of Mary, Martha and Lazarus. Scripture tells us that Jesus went there often to find rest and refuge, and where He enjoyed friendship and hospitality.

The village of Bethany derived its original name from two Hebrew words, “Beth An’ya,” meaning the “Home of the Poor” in the Hebrew dialect. It was a place where you found the poor, needy, broken & hurting. For Jesus it was a place of dwelling, sacrificial love, resurrection of Lazarus, His anointing and where he gathered His disciples and blessed them before ascending to heaven. The disciples response is recorded in Luke 24:
52 Then they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. 53 And they stayed continually at the temple, praising God.

In this one-day Women's conference, we invite you into a space to be equipped, to experience the creative nature of the Triune God, and to come and listen to testimonies of how Jesus still heals and delivers today. A place like Bethany, where sick, broken and hurting people encountered Jesus.

Pastor Cate Lewis

Pastor Cate Lewis is the Director of Freshwater Ministries - a prophetic ministry affiliated with the Crosslink Network of Churches in Australia. Cate also leads the Australian Network of Local Houses of Prayer - a ministry flowing out of Ffald-Y-Brenin in Wales and longs to see people equipped and transformed in their calling as Kingdom people to demonstrate the love and power of Jesus as she runs seminars, conferences and speaks regularly in Sunday services across Australia and overseas.

Suzanna Ochse

Suzanna Ochse is the NSW state facilitator for Bethel Sozo. Sozo is the Hebrew word, for saved healed and delivered. During Sozo session, lies and wounds will be revealed in a safe environment, and replaced by God with truth and healing. It is a time between you and God, to allow God to touch your heart in a way that you may have never experienced before.

Annemarie Grant

Annemarie has walked through a journey of addiction and life controlling issues but by God's grace she had a radical transformation, and she now walks in freedom, hope and healing.

Louisa Chan

Louisa Chan, a Sydney based Christian and prophetic artist, will guide you through a one-hour creative arts class that is designed to help you hear from God and express yourself through paint and canvas. This unique class is tailored to beginners but is also open to seasoned artists who are looking to deepen their connection with God through their art.

Julia Watson

Julia Watson lives in Sydney and has been a part of the College of Supernatural at GGC Life Church, Leichhardt for nearly 5 years. She is passionate about the beauty and goodness of God and loves to lead people into his presence through worship and guided encounters.
