Event description

Support Health Professionals Network for Tigray (HPN4Tigray) by joining us for an evening of good organized by community members in Darwin with support from Ethiopian Sister's Kitchen. The evening will feature a pub quiz, cultural experiences, fundraising activities, and delicious Ethiopian food. Your attendance will contribute to fulfilling HPN4Tigray's mission of improving access to healthcare. HPN4Tigray aims to provide support for the unmet humanitarian needs in Tigray, the northernmost region of Ethiopia. In November 2020, HPN4Tigray was founded by a group of doctors and other professionals in response to the human suffering caused by the war on Tigray.

HPNTigray has been providing essential services in Tigray and the refugee camps of Sudan since the onset of the war in Tigray. Its comprehensive approach includes providing critical medical care in rural Tigray, nutrition programs amid food shortages, and mental health support for children and adults in Tunaydbah refugee camp, significantly improving community health and well-being. Facing new challenges, especially with the US aid freeze, the organization's ability to fulfill its mission is in jeopardy.

Every ticket purchased and/or thoughtful contribution means the difference between providing life-saving services or facing a halt. We look forward to seeing you!

HPN4Tigray's 2024 Impact

50% of ticket proceeds go to HPN4Tigray.
