Impact Morning by Better Circles
Description
A monthly morning meet-up to get caffeinated, meet like minded change-makers and hear from a local inspiring individual/organisation.
Whether you're involved in the social impact or environmental space, looking to enter the field or just curious to learn more about Naarm/Melbourne's impact space... this is the morning for you :)
October 2026 Speaker:
Gabrielle Pestinger // Wholefoods Unwrapped Collective
Wholefoods Unwrapped Collective (WUC) based in Brunswick is a group of likeminded Merri-bek residents, intent on wholefood shopping differently!
In our online shops, WUC has 400 products from 40 suppliers (including hard to source low/zero waste products such as tofu, yoghurt, cheese and fresh pasta) that are all local, low (or no) waste and low cost.
Every week, Wholefoods Unwrapped Collective portion produce from bulk containers into stainless steel Returnr’s.
Incredibly, in the 6 years since its inception, WUC has diverted: 17 tons of plastic, 17 tons o cardboard and paper from landfill and recycling.
Their community and environmental ideals are unparalleled.
