Event description

Sharing stories through song.

Musicians Stella Anning and Michael J Brady work as guitarists, songwriters, and vocalists, with a collective musical history that spans folk, indie-rock, neo-soul, and jazz. Exploring the space between these lines has given each a fluid and honest space for music-making and storytelling.

United during a transformative artist residency at Banff, Canada, in 2024, their shared experience as a jazz guitarist turned singer/songwriter, inspired a series of original jazz/folk compositions that capture the spirit of collaboration and creativity. In between their solo release schedules, Stella & Michael will be co-headlining an interstate tour, sharing these songs from their work as songwriters and bandleaders.
