2-Day Workshop: Beyblade X Engineering – Design, Crafting, & 3D Printing

The Texas BeyBlade League has partnered with TheLab makerspace to present this exclusive Beyblade X Engineering Workshop – designed for bladers ready to master customization and compete in the next era of competitive custom Beyblade events.

Explore the intersection of engineering, design, and competitive play in this hands-on two-day workshop focused on Beyblade X design crafting, customization, and 3D printing. Participants will gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, learning from a qualified instructor who has developed college level coursework on this topic.

What You'll Learn:

✅ Beyblade X Design Principles – Understanding mechanics, balance, and performance factors for optimization.
✅ 3D Modeling & Prototyping – Learn CAD techniques for creating custom Beyblade X parts.
✅ Hands-On 3D Printing – Print and refine your own Beyblade X designs using professional-grade equipment.

Participants will have access to cutting-edge software, 3D printers, and expert guidance throughout the workshop. Upon completion, you'll be ready to take your custom Beyblade X and battle in official TBBL Crafted Tournament Events!

Workshop Structure:

Day 1 - Monday | 7pm -10pm

Class Session: Introduction to Beyblade X design, 3D modeling fundamentals, and printing preparation.

Day 2 - Thursday | 7pm -10pm

Lab Session: Hands-on 3D printing, testing, and fine-tuning your custom Beyblade X

Important Details:

⚠️Age Requirement: 18+ (Future workshops may accommodate younger participants with supervision).
⚠️Makerspace Safety & Access: Due to the presence of industrial and professional equipment, all participants must adhere to safety protocols and facility guidelines. Certain areas are restricted and others require staff supervision.
⚠️TBBL Policies and Guidelines: All TBBL policies and guidelines are to followed throughout the workshop event (TBBL Policies --> Link). TBBL Public Health Safety and Procedure guidelines must also be followed (Under Seasonal Events Details --> Link)
⚠️Waiver Requirement: Both digital and physical liability waivers must be signed before entering the workshop zone.

⚠️Opening Session: Participants need to choose which workshop set they will attend by buying the ticket to that week's opening Monday Class Session. That following Thursday is the Day 2 Lab Session.
