Michael Harvey: Rabobank Senior Analyst – Dairy & Consumer Foods

Michael is an enthusiastic and experienced dairy analyst, based in Melbourne, Australia. He has been actively involved in the Australian dairy industry for much of his life, having been raised on a dairy farm in the northern Victorian irrigation district. Michael brings to this role more than fifteen years of experience as a professional analyst, researcher and adviser gained through working with Dairy Australia (the peak industry body) as part of the Trade and Strategy team before joining the Rabo Research team in 2011. Michael has an in-depth knowledge of local and global dairy markets and how dairy supply chains function. Michael holds a bachelor degree in international trade from the Victorian University and a postgraduate degree in diplomacy and trade at Monash University.

Dr. Jim Walsh BVSc – Coopers Animal Health

Dr. Jim Walsh grew up on a mixed family farm near Crookwell in the Southern Tablelands of NSW. Jim graduated from the University of Sydney in 1988, spent five years working in mixed practice then moved into farm management and consulting until 2008. After 6 years as a government vet including abattoir work and District vetting from Echuca Jim joined Coopers Animal Health in 2014 as a technical advisor. He is based at Moama in the Southern Riverina and provides technical support to the Coopers team, producers, resellers and veterinarians in Victoria, South Australia and the Southern Riverina.

Reagan Stroud: Ridley National Merchandising Manager Grain and Oilseeds 

Reagan has over 25 year’s experience in the Grain Industry across a number of roles held with Waterwheel/Laucke mills in Bridgewater, GrainCorp (in both Quality Management and Grain Marketing Management) and Agribusiness finance with Suncorp Bank in Bendigo Victoria. He joined Ridley in 2022 as the National Grains Manager and is responsible for the company’s procurement and risk management of cereals, pulses and oilseeds

Andre Nel: Technical Sales Manager Ruminant for Ridley.

Andre is a highly regarded and experienced Ruminant Nutritionist with over 30 years working within the industry. He has a vast experience in Dairy Cow nutrition both in pasture based and TMR conditions. He also has a good practical understanding in having owned a dairy farm in Northern Vic.
