About the Class

If you are already comfortable throwing a basic cylinder, or would like to brush up on the basics and move on to bigger things, this class is for you. We'll sharpen your fundamentals while introducing new forms, more independent studio time, and the confidence to trust your hands.

Class tuition includes:

• Weekly class instruction

• 25 pounds of clay (firing included)

• Access to open studio hours
  

About the Instructor

Amy Irish makes functional and decorative work out of her home studio in Hillsborough, NC. She uses wheel thrown pottery and a complex process of layered slip and underglazes to create one of a kind works. She’s inspired by the little things in the world around her.
