Are you a SA Health employee aged 35 or younger looking to explore new career possibilities, build meaningful connections, and take the next step in your professional journey?

Join the SA Health Young Professionals Group (YPG) for an interactive career planning workshop facilitated by The Good Trouble Group.

Career pathways are rarely linear. Whether you're considering a move between clinical and non-clinical roles, exploring opportunities in a different discipline, or simply wanting to better understand your strengths and future options, this workshop will help you design a career that aligns with your interests, skills and aspirations.

Rather than focusing on climbing the traditional career ladder, this session will encourage participants to think more broadly about what a fulfilling career can look like within SA Health. Through practical activities, structured networking, group discussions and collaborative learning, you'll have the opportunity to learn from peers across a wide range of professions and experiences.

What to Expect

This workshop will support participants to:

Build connections with young professionals from different disciplines, teams and services across SA Health.
Explore and better understand their transferable skills, strengths and professional value.
Build confidence in articulating their experience, skills and career aspirations.
Develop strategies for having effective career conversations with managers and peers.
Learn how to identify and pursue development opportunities both within and outside formal programs.
Broaden their understanding of career pathways across clinical, non-clinical and cross-disciplinary roles.
Gain practical tools and ideas to support future career planning and growth.
Leave with a clear next step to progress their career, strengthen their network, or explore a new pathway.

The workshop aligns with the YPG strategic priorities of Connection and Growth, creating a supportive environment for young professionals to learn from one another, share experiences, and explore future possibilities.

Leave feeling empowered to pursue new career opportunities and have meaningful career conversations with managers and peers.
