Emma, a People Leader at a fast-growing tech company, noticed early warning signs of burnout in her staff - rising absenteeism, late-night emails, and disengaged meetings. Instead of waiting for complaints, she launched proactive wellbeing check-ins, trained managers in psychological safety, and adjusted workloads based on real employee feedback.

Six months later, turnover dropped, productivity improved, and employees reported feeling more supported, valued, and energised - all without waiting for a crisis to force action.

A tick-and-flick compliance method may work in the short term, but it could land you in hot water later on.

Organisations should have their hazard management plans completed and ready to share in an audit.

And if a complaint is raised, they need to demonstrate that they are doing more than simply ticking a box - they have to show the regulators that are proactively preventing issues from arising.

Aside from putting hazard management policies in place, every organisation has an invaluable opportunity to proactively assist their employees. This means, beyond avoiding fines, you benefit from employees who are more engaged, connected, and productive in their jobs, leading to lower turnover and higher levels of engagement.

Rather than waiting for burnout, stress, or disengagement to occur, PVM focuses on maintaining and enhancing physical, emotional, and mental vitality through intentional, ongoing actions.
