The Transparent Company... Walk | Waterfall and Palona Falls

Hey friends, a while ago I mentioned I was keen to organise a walk and some of you seemed keen. The walk will go ahead on the 17th of September (unless it's horrendously windy or bucketing down).

The aim of this walk is to say hi, make some new friends and chat about our experiences - or anything really! And appreciate nature. I've chosen an easy one specifically to kick things off (although more challenging ones in the future will be on the cards for those who like a more adventurous walk)

We will meet at Waterfall station at 9 am - from there we will carpool with whoever is comfortable (Entry into the park is $12 per vehicle. The car park is tiny, so would be better to hop in with someone - I'm happy to be a driver (can take 3 people)

We will sort out the car shuffle when we get to the train station.

There is some uphill involved but is not too strenuous, all of it is on track along the beautiful Hacking River and Bola Creek.

We will go for a swim and have lunch at the river and a compulsory cup of tea, and maybe if people are keen, we can cross the river and look for some beautiful rare White Beech trees that grow in the area - my favourite local rainforest tree!
