Beyond The Bar: IRL Coffee Industry Panel & Meetup
Event description
We want to bring back the momentum of IRL events in Sydney's coffee industry, celebrating, sharing ideas and getting together with this awesome community we're part of.
On Beyond The Bar, a panel of coffee industry workers will exchange thoughts and feelings about the status of Sydney's coffee industry post-COVID. What's changed? What's stayed? What can we do to make it a better, more vibrant place?

This event marks (and celebrates) B Corp month, a global campaign amplifying and building awareness of how the B Corporation movement is transforming the economic system for the better. This March 2023, the theme is We Go Beyond, presenting the world with a community of impactful businesses that go beyond the harmful status quo and take action to transform the economic system.
Sample Coffee, Heaps Normal and Capital Brewing are certified B Corporations working in the coffee industry.

This event will take place on Gadigal land. We acknowledge its Traditional Custodians and we pay our respects to their elders past, present and emerging, recognising that sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be. This acknowledgement extends to indigenous and underserved populations elsewhere in the coffee belt, not forgetting that our industry was built on colonialism and slavery.
