School’s Out — Let’s Get Cultured!

Beyond The Bell’s Art Gallery Day Out is a screen-free Sydney school holiday adventure for kids who love to create, explore and see something different.

Starting from Balmain, we’ll travel by ferry into the city for a full day across some of Sydney’s most iconic cultural and outdoor spaces, including the Art Gallery of NSW, Sydney Modern, the Royal Botanic Garden and Sydney Opera House forecourt.

January highlights include the Mechelle Bounpraseuth exhibition, alongside other current exhibitions and gallery spaces.

Every child is gifted their own sketch pad for the day, giving them somewhere to draw, jot down ideas and capture the things that catch their eye as we move through the galleries and city.

Led by qualified educators, this small-group experience combines art, walking, ferry travel, creative challenges, harbour views and plenty of time outdoors.

It’s not a sit-down art class. It’s a full Out + About day built around curiosity, creativity, independence and exploring Sydney with friends.
