A wonderful opportunity to hear three reknown Adelaide poets; Ian Gibbins, Shaine Melrose and Matthew Pankhurst, reading poetry that references nature, conservation and climate change. An auditory tonic pondering the environmental concerns of our times.

A Conservation SA event to coincide with the screening of Beyond the Floodtide by Ian Gibbins at The Joinery from 3 - 6pm on Fridays in August during SALA.

Beyond the Floodtide explores how will life change to cope with global warming and rising sea levels? Plants, animals, humans, forms yet to evolve: all will need to adapt to challenging new environments. This video sequence imagines how we and the biosphere around us might deal with the consequences of anthropogenic climate change.

FREE event. Everyone welcome, bookings essential. Drinks available for purchase and delicious dinner options available from Simply Sarj Cafe https://www.facebook.com/sarjcooking. So come and relax with a bevvy and a snack in the cosey surrounds of The Joinery.
