- Explore the transformative power of natural light, understanding how to harness its potential to create captivating new environments within their photographs.
- Through a study of composition, balance, and the rule of thirds, discover how to establish harmonious relationships within the space of their photographs, crafting visually striking images.
- Learn to infuse your photos with deep meaning, regardless of the setting, by strategically utilizing elements within any location or space.
- The series emphasizes the importance of intentionality in photography, encouraging participants to approach each shot with a clear vision and purpose, ultimately enhancing the impact and depth of their photographic storytelling.
Over 4 weeks, you'll use disposable cameras, or your personal device(s), to take photos to document your life and experiences. Jarmon will capture portraits of each participant to accompany their work! Your work will culminate and be celebrated in an exhibit, provided by Buddy at The Chicago Cultural Center. The exhibition will tentatively run from July 1, 2024 until August 30, 2024.
