Hunter iF Innovators Lunch Series: Beyond the Hard Hat

THE AGENDA: INFORM, INSPIRE, ACTIVATE

🥪 12:00 PM | Lunch & Vibe Check Grab lunch immediately upon arrival and join the conversation at our interactive stations.

📊 INFORM | The Reality Check

Newy Tech People’s Melinda Seitsma, Senior Engineering Consultant, will unpack the latest data on the local talent market. What do candidates actually want? And how do we bridge the gap between "Industrial Perception" and "High-Tech Reality"?

⚡ INSPIRE | The Case Studies

Hear from two local companies proving that "Hard Tech" is the hottest ticket in town:

• Australian EVS: Jye Hollier, Lead Engineer, on why engineers are trading software for the thrill of high-voltage, hands-on innovation.

• Allegro Energy: Jay Tennant, Electrochemist, discusses attracting top-tier scientists by selling the mission, not just the role.

🛠 ACTIVATE | The Makeover

Roll up your sleeves for a table challenge. We’ll take boring, standard job descriptions and rewrite them into "Killer Hooks" that attract motivated, high-skilled talent.
