Gather ‘Round with Beyond the Ridge

Beyond the Ridge is delighted to return to The Muse. Blending rich harmonies, heartfelt storytelling, and an eclectic mix of instruments, the band weaves together original songs with thoughtfully chosen favorites from across the musical landscape. Whether reflective, spirited, or joyfully unexpected, Beyond the Ridge invites the audience to settle in, listen closely, and, undoubtedly, join in on a few songs along the way.

Michael Clarke is a singer-songwriter who writes songs about life often couched in metaphors about nature. He enjoys mountain biking, kayaking and hiking. 

Emmy Hastings grew up surrounded by song: Her mother was a piano teacher and her father was a singer who often performed in community theater. When she is not singing, she gardens and paints. Her artwork has been the subject of many shows at various Hudson Valley galleries. 

Paul Rubeo is a singer and multi-instrumentalist who is also a member of the group Betty and the Baby Boomers. Paul brings his talent for percussion, guitar, intricate harmonies and recording talent to all of his musical endeavors. 

Paul Rubeo Jr. is a bass guitar player and singer. He has extensive knowledge of music and experience in theater. Paul plays guitar, electric bass and upright bass. 

Steven Stanne will stand in for Jim Pospisil. He is a singer and guitarist, and also a member of the group Betty and The Baby Boomers. arranging talents and instrumental work are at the heart of the Boomers’ sound. His guitar and Dobro have graced albums by numerous Hudson Valley folk artists. Clearwater’s education director from 1980 to 1999, Steve was a leader of the Hudson River Sloop Singers, Clearwater's "house band."
