Join Nature Conservation Margaret River Region and the Undalup Association to find out why our marine environment is so unique - another special evening as part of Nature Conservation Margaret River Region's Sundowner Series. We are very excited about this deep dive into Wadandi Sea Country, our marine environment and the Ngari Capes Marine Park. We have an allstar line up of speakers confirmed and what promises to be three engaging and informative perspectives followed by an audience Q and A helping us all improve our Ocean Literacy:

ZAC WEBB (Wadandi Cultural Custodian, Undalup Association): Zac will provide a unique and fascinating insight into Wadandi Seacountry, the changes in coastline and sea level witnessed by the Wadandi people and the connection and custodianship borne out of their connection over thousands of generations,
DAVE LIERICH (Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions - Ngari Capes Marine Park): Dave brings 17 years experience as a Marine Park Ranger from all over the State and will provide an update and understanding of the Ngari Capes Marine Park as it nears 12 years since its gazettal as a Marine Park.
Dr TIM LANGLOIS (UWA Oceans Institute): Tim has studied our marine biodiversity for over 20 years and his research has focused on how to find balance in our interactions with the environment, often with a focus on Marine Parks. He works in collaboration with Traditional Custodians on Wadandi and other country’s around WA to inform the management of our linked sea and land systems. Tim will provide a unique perspective of the unique biodiversity values of our region and the two way science being undertaken on Wadandi Sea Country.
