    Event description

Wellbeing – mine, yours and ours. Let’s consider how our own wellbeing practices support children’s wellbeing.

Be You is the national mental health in education initiative delivered by Beyond Blue. In this session, we will look at the wellbeing of your community – your own wellbeing, the wellbeing of the whole educating team and how these practices support children’s wellbeing learning and development.

Throughout this workshop, we will utilise the Be You Planning for Wellbeing – mine, yours and ours ebook to support you in developing your own wellbeing plan. Within this plan, we will also explore strategies for including wellbeing practices within your curriculum planning for children.

    Key Outcomes:

    • What is mental health and wellbeing?
    •  Understanding stressors and their impact.
    • Planning for the risk and protective factors to our wellbeing.
    • Considering Community of Care – the wellbeing of our whole community.
    • How do our own wellbeing practices impact children and their understanding of wellbeing?

This event will provide participants with a light morning tea.
