The Brisbane Girls Grammar School Fathers Group invite you to the Fathers Group Dinner and Meeting, held on Wednesday 17 August 2022.

Successful English students are made, not born

Join Director of English, Ms Jo Genders, as she challenges the misconception that you can’t become better at English.

Writing and speaking are essential parts of everyday life, from school assessments through to work presentations. At this Term’s Fathers Group Dinner Meeting, Jo will discuss key strategies and provide some takeaway tips and tricks to help you meaningfully support your daughter through her English studies.

Before the event, you may like to tune into our recent Illumine podcast, The secret to getting ahead? ‘Mucking it up’ first, encouraging our students to ‘fall forward’ and embrace their writing practices with grit and confidence.

These meetings are a wonderful way to connect with other parents and friends in the School community - all are welcome to attend.
