BGGS 2022 Senior Drama Production: Abigail's Coven
Event description
The New Moon is upon us.
This year, the Senior Drama Production presents an offering like no other in The Crucible spin-off, Abigail’s Coven, by Peter Cox and Fred Goldsworthy.
Journey to Salem, Massachusetts at the dawn of the famed 1692 witch trials. In this newer chapter of The Crucible, Abigail Williams—one of literature’s notorious antagonists—leads a coven of young Salemites to believe in the power of the collective, while she grapples with the authenticity of her own individual identity. As she unleashes mayhem on the small Puritan community, resulting in the inevitable, all-too-familiar series of tragedies, the often-pondered questions surrounding The Crucible are finally answered.
Join us for one of three performances at 6.30 pm on Thursday 12 May, Friday 13 May or Saturday 14 May. This performance is suitable for ages 12 and over.
