Introducing Bid for Better

An evening for our community, featuring real kōrero, live auctions, raffles, music and good kai. 

Bid for Better is dedicated to raising money for our mental health counselling fund. This fund aims to supplement local mental health services by reducing financial & access barriers to receiving mental health support. Whether you're able to koha, show up, spread the word or bid for better, your support helps add a much needed boost to this fund so that rangatahi in our community can get the help they need. 

We will have multiple ways to tautoko including, raffle tickets, donation boxes, and a live auction!

At Bid for Better, we are also super excited to be joined by Dr Lucy Hone, director of the NZ Institute of Wellbeing & Resilience, Adjunct Senior fellow at the University of Canterbury, a published academic researcher, best-selling author and TEDX speaker. Her mahi can be seen in various kura and kāhui ako all across Aotearoa.

Dr Hone is known for her expertise in resilience, grief, public health and wellbeing, and we are honored to have Lucy join us at this event.

A night to remember, be sure to grab your ticket and join us Wednesday the 9th of August at Muy Muy, Welles St. Kai and good vibes are included. Auction items will be released prior to the event.
