Event description

Crabs have a pair. Echidnas’ are multi headed. Ducks have a corkscrew. But whatever the species, there's definitely something going on downstairs.

Join Adelaide's own Annabel Crabb and our panel of experts as they explore the wonderful world of the penis in nature, sifting the fallacies from the phalluses and delving into the mysteries of the male member.

Featuring:

  • Annabel Crabb (ABC News, Kitchen Cabinet, Chat 10 Looks 3)
  • Jo Bain (3D design specialist and taxidermist, South Australian Museum)
  • Dr Emma Sherratt (Director of Science programs, University of Adelaide)
  • Stephen Zagala (World Cultures Research Fellow, South Australian Museum)

Leave all single entendres at the door, and come to the Museum after dark for an adults-only symposium on the science of the schlong.

Suitable for age 15 years and up.  Adult themes and content.

Keen for more after-dark fun at the South Australian Museum? Join us for Night Lab: Tropic Like It's Hot on 17 November.

Presented as part of FEAST Festival, Adelaide's LGBTQIA+ Arts & Cultural Festival
