    Event description

Its time to bring the topic of Mental Health and wellbeing to everyday table talk. Come on your own to meet some great people or get some people together for dinner, drinks, meaningful conversations and lets go above and beyond raising some funds for Beyond Blue so they can continue to support everyone in their time of need.

Your ticket includes Dinner, a welcome drink, an entry in to the door prize draw, a generous donation to Beyond Blue and some great conversations with some amazing people! On the night we will have more fundraising opportunities like a silent auction, a raffle, guess how many lollies in the jar competition, beautiful cookies and cupcakes for sale from the amazing Fork Yeah Baking, and after dinner Michael Barton will provide us with some tunes. We would love to hear from you if you would like to donate something to our auction or raffle other than money!

Most people who know me know how important talking about Mental Health is to me and how much I think there should not be any stigma around not being ok. I am a big believer in talking when things aren't going well or life is feeling too much. I love a good no judgement vent to friends but its so good knowing there are options if I need them like Beyond Blue support services who are only a phone call or webchat away. Sometimes an honest chat with a mate is all we need but sometimes we need something more.

If you can't make it for dinner but you would still like to support Beyond Blue you can donate via my fundraising page here https://bigbluetable.com.au/cl...

Please join the Facebook event page if you haven't already so you can keep up with whats on offer on the night and show some love to the generosity of the businesses providing donations. Last year together we raised a whopping $7434 for Beyond Blue to continue the work they do and this year I would love to match that or go for even more! https://www.facebook.com/event...

In keeping with the theme we ask if you could wear something blue on the night. It can be a subtle touch of blue or the whole outfit, whatever you feel comfortable in! We will also once again be collecting toiletries and pantry items again on arrival to donate to Gisborne Food Bank in memory of Monte Croke who lost his life to suicide. Last years donations filled my car and the Food bank were eternally grateful!
