Thanks for supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters Wangaratta's inaugural AQUATHON event!

It's going to be a day for our community to gather together and have a whole lot of fun.

EVENT INFORMATION

The BBBS Aquathon 2023 will give participants a chance to compete across three different categories. You will be able to compete individually or in a squad of 2 or 3 depending on the category.

You can choose to be a MARLIN, CLOWNFISH or a GOLDFISH, just work out what suits your skills best

	MARLIN
	This is for competitive sports people who want to go all out and test their skills. You may only compete as an individual in this event. You will need to be 13 years of age or older.
	Cost: $30 Event: 2km run - 400 m swim - 2km run

	CLOWNFISH
	This is for those who enjoy a bit of fun, maybe haven’t quite got all the skills yet, but still want to participate. You will need to be 13 years of age or older. You may compete individually or form a Squad of 2 or 3. Each person in your Squad can do one leg each or one person can swim, and one person can do both runs.
	Cost: $30 individual $60 squad Event: 1km run - 200 m swim - 1km run

	GOLDFISH
	This is for 12 years old and under to give it your best go. You may compete individually or form a Squad of 2 or 3. Each person in your Squad can do one leg each or one person can swim, and one person can run.
	Cost: $15 individual $30 squad Event: 500 m run - 50 m swim - 500 m run

PRIZES

There will be cash prizes for 1st place in each category, and additional prizes for 2nd and 3rd place.

Stay tuned for other prizes to be awarded on the day.

A $250 cash prize will be paid to the organisation, school, club or group who registers the most participants in the Aquathon. Make sure you include the name of your group when you register.
