Good Connections: The Key to Happiness and Longevity

What’s the secret to a happy, fulfilling life? Decades of research from the Harvard Study of Adult Development have revealed a clear answer - strong social connections. Good relationships not only bring joy but are proven to also improve health, resilience, and even extend our lifespan.

In today’s fast-paced work environment, the ability to build trust, communicate effectively, and foster a sense of belonging is more important than ever. At Good Connections, we’ll explore why meaningful relationships matter - not just in our personal lives, but in professional settings too.

Our expert speakers will share powerful insights and give you practical tools to help you create real connection with your colleagues, friends and family.

Dr Jane Farmer, Professor of Health & Social Innovation at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, will share the latest research and science on why connection is critical to your health and to the wellbeing of communities.
Mitch Wallis, psychology thought leader and author of Real Conversations, will unpack the art of deep and authentic communication and share his tips on how to connect with confidence
Jessie McLachlan, CEO and Co-Founder of Altru, will share how Altru Festival, a party with a purpose, uses the power of human connection to support young people experiencing homelessness.

Join us for an eye-opening seminar that will change the way you think about connections in your life. Whether you're a leader, a team member, or simply someone looking to grow, Good Connections will equip you with the knowledge and skills to build stronger connections, emotional intelligence and a more fulfilling life.
