Big Cosy Sing 2026

You are invited to a Big Cosy Sing to chase away the winter chill with a joyful and heartfelt collaboration between local singers, song leaders and community.

PROGRAM

• shared warm ups

• 5 choirs show-and-tell and share their favourite repertoire

• Performance by local singer-songwriter Sapphic Ocean (Alex McSherry - they/them)

• learn an all-in song by local artist Eliza Hull, arranged in 4 parts by Loz Irwin-Ray (please note Eliza won't be attending this event)

• afternoon tea

No previous singing experience is needed for this fun and inclusive all abilities participatory event.

Bookings by donation  We recommend $15 (waged) / $10 (conc) and there's also an option to choose your preferred level of support. If it suits your circumstances please consider making an additional donation.

This year the Big Cosy Sing is raising funds for Eb~Flow~Grow Foundation, a charitable foundation that sponsors children with diverse learning needs to have farm or nature-based experiences to support their occupational therapy sessions.

About Eliza Hull: 

Eliza has become one of Australia’s most vital voices for disability advocacy within the music industry. Just recently, she was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for her contribution to music and disability advocacy, alongside recognition through Music Victoria Awards and the Women in Music Awards.  Article about Eliza, disability and motherhood with photos by our friend Hilary Walker.
