Big Dang Friday featuring KEVIN! & Caught up in the Hoo Ha

Friday night improv just got better; it's now Big Dang Friday! Second Fridays of the month feature Stomping Ground's longest-running musical improv house team KEVIN! and unruly improv from house team Caught Up in the Hoo Ha.

Caught up in the Hoo Ha takes the audience on a wild, improvised ride bouncing back and forth as they unpeel characters and scenes like onions. Featuring: Ian Jungmann, Jaydon Graeme, Sara Jackson, Peter Van Nuys, Stephanie Bell, Carrie Sumner, and Nono Osuji. The team is coached by John Gerhardt.

Kevin! is Stomping Ground’s longest-running musical improv house team; they create characters and original songs on the spot that will have audience members singing and dancing along. Kevin! features Daniel Shimek, John Gerhardt, Lynsey Hale, Grant Hollowell, Patrick Murphy, Kelsey Satalino, and Shelby Harrison. Accompaniment by Stomping Ground Musical Director Joshua Diamond and Direction by Greg Mihalik.

The March 8 show features special guests Yo Little Friends. Yo Little Friends troupe performs a reality TV-style show that draws inspiration from various friendships and relationships, with a little help from the audience. They add a sprinkle of nostalgic glitter presented in fun short-form improv moments. You might laugh, you might chant, and you might even cry. Just kidding about the crying part unless that’s your thing but you will most definitely be entertained! Featuring Ade Ajayi, Angela Vaughn, Shelby Harrison, Michele Hill, Melanie Robinson, and Katherine White.

Rated M for Mature/18+. Ticket prices are $10 (plus fees) in advance and $14 at the door. Stomping Ground is BYOB. Alcoholic beverages are allowed for all attendees over 21 years old; patrons are asked to enjoy them responsibly.
