Big Dang Friday featuring Malicious Compliance and Vocal Fried

Friday night improv just got better; it's now Big Dang Friday! Third Fridays of the month feature a brand spankin' new house team Malicious Compliance and made-up songs that you'll be humming along with from Vocal Fried!

Malicious Compliance is Stomping Ground's newest house team, and they tackle the legendary Harold improv format pioneered at io Chicago and UCB. Starting with a single word from the audience, the cast weaves together three distinct storylines, whimsical group games, and recurring characters out of thin air. Watch in real time as these seemingly unrelated scenes collide and intertwine. Malicious Compliance is comprised of Christi Arthur, Andy Missel, Stephanie Jutras, Kunal Eapen, Justin Wayne, Dora Nweke-Hinkle, Madison Cooper, and Will Harris. They are coached by Tyler Vornberg.

Stomping Ground’s musical house team, Vocal Fried, presents Once Upon a Tune: an improvised musical narrative with dynamic characters and catchy musical numbers, all inspired by your suggestions. Vocal Fried features Kelly Kaufman, Raymund King, Kimber Martin, Wes Paine, Sahara Kahn, Jasmine Stehsel, Andrew Holden, and David Zhu. Musical Direction by Ianne Warshawsky.

Rated M for Mature/18+. Ticket prices are $10 (plus fees) in advance and $14 at the door. Stomping Ground is BYOB. Alcoholic beverages are allowed for all attendees over 21 years old; patrons are asked to enjoy them responsibly.
