Big Dang Friday featuring New News News Crew, Don't Broken Not Fixin', & BONOBOS
Event description
Friday night improv just got better; it's now Big Dang Friday! The Januar9 19 show features New News News Crew, Don't Broken Not Fixin', and BONOBOS!
The New News News Crew, here to bring the news to you! The New News News Crew is Dallas's premier improv news team, performing an entirely improvised comedy news program with help from the audience. The Crew will interview audience members about recent events in their daily lives (as they say, "in order to show the news, we have to know the news") and examine those stories from multiple angles to ensure that all sides are reported. Ultimately, it will be up to the audience to decide what the true story is. The New News News Crew! We bring the news, so you don't have to! The New News News Crew features Jaydon Graeme, Joel Jenkins, Ian Jungmann, Shenelle Peart, Natalia Trigo, and Joshua Reus, and is coached by Tristen Rouse.
The infamous, now-deceased playwright William Shakespeare once said "All the world's a stage." Some thought he was crazy (I mean hey, who isn't these days!?!), but the all-star roster of humour collective Don't Broken, Not Fixin! (oft heralded as the Citizen Kane of not-movies) took his words to heart, and now perform every one of their live shows on or near a stage, because hey, that's life! Just sit back, relax, and let their comedy moon bring the laugh tides to your mouth shore! Don't Broken, Not Fixin'! features Kent Wicklander, Emily Baudot, Jason Hensel, Isaac Hines, John Logan, Joe Halbouty, Taylor Rexrode, Gefen Kusin-Kline, David Allison, and Raye Maddox.
BONOBOS is a ragtag group of veteran improvisers that are only slightly less evolved than humans. Dive into a show of movement and side-splitting laughter, where the fearless beats of BONOBOS ignite the imaginations of three improvisers. This isn't your average comedy show; it's a journey into the sonic landscape of dynamic scenework where every twitch, shimmy, and quip is born from the spontaneous combustion of rhythm and wit. BONOBOS features Cameron Goldapp, Tim Yager, and Rachel Farmer.
