    Big Day at the Park

    Bring the whole family along for the biggest day of the festival – featuring 10 hours of live music across a whopping four Festival stages. Join us in the stunning CJF Festival Hub and enjoy a dazzling and diverse line-up of local and interstate jazz, mouth-watering local food and beverages, and an epic kid’s program including outdoor games, face-painting, craft, and more!

    Discover and enjoy some of the finest wines from the Coal River Valley at our exclusive Frogmore Creek Bar and tasting station as well as delicious food and coffee from our local vendors, who will be serving up a variety of dishes and drinks to suit your taste buds.

    Scholars Showcase
    Our 2024 Jazz Scholars are joined by 2024 Clarence Jazz Festival Ambassador Shannon Barnett, mentor Katy Raucher and the CJF House Band for a special presentation of their emerging and evolving talents.

    Enjoy jazz interpretations of music inspired by Anime, video games and Japanese pop culture.

    Don’t miss the debut of a brand-new EP from this divine blues and soul-drenched ensemble.

    Mangus and Co
    This original and exciting group are influenced by early trad jazz and ragtime and will be launching their brand-new album ‘I Don’t Think I’m Here’ at our 2024 festival!

    Festival favorites Southern Lights Big Band and SWOON reunite for an unforgettable set of vintage, three-part vocal arrangements accompanied by a seriously swinging big band.

    Get ready to feel some feelings and have a good boogie as the master of original soul and folk music, Karai, leads a stunning five-piece band.

    Son Del Sur
    Inspired by New York’s Hustle and the rhythmic heartbeat of Cuba, this beloved 10-piece Salsa dance band will electrify the summer night!

    The Projekt
    Featuring the vocal talents of Allison Cornish, this northern Tas supergroup presents original compositions and unique twists on well-loved jazz standards.

    Music That Moves You (Hothouse icon)
    A brand new collaboration between Nicole Farrow and Annalise Haigh exploring creative expression, movement, and voice through the medium of jazz.

    Phil Bywater Quartet
    After 30 years away on national and international stages, saxophonist Phil Bywater returns home accompanied by some serious heavies, including iconic master drummer Ted Vining!

    Mulaka Milaythina (The Hunting Grounds)
    Commissioned for our 2022 festival, we are delighted to welcome Nunami Sculthorpe-Green and Louise Denson (along with a stellar nine-piece jazz ensemble) for a re-mounting of this ground-breaking and important work exploring the true history of the Lands of the Mumarimina people.

    Ade Ishs, Nick Hart, and Bruce Innocent meld an exciting mix of ideas to create some joyous and uplifting music.

    A beautiful fusion of jazz and soul, presented by up-and-coming jazz legends.

    Harry Edwards Trio

    Emotive, delicate and original jazz compositions, influenced by film scores, modern jazz, Manouche and classical impressionists.
