Event description

Tickets drop 16 October at 7pm - Afterpay & Zip will be available. Pre-register for free now for 24-hour early access when tickets go on sale - only 150 spots on board.

This December, we’re doing Christmas our way - unapologetically sapphic, on the harbour, with kai, music, and a boat overflowing with dyke energy sailing straight into the Hauraki sunset. This is the Christmas party you actually wantto go to - limited tickets, no boring speeches, no awkward family chat with uncle Tim, just 4 hours of pure Ginger’s mischief with your queer whānau!

Your $135 ticket gets you:

  • A 4-hour exclusive sail on a 2 level catamaran (only 150 onboard)

  • A Christmas nibble spread included (no hangry lesbians here)

  • DJ keeping the decks moving all night

  • Butch Santa (Alice Soper) in her grotto - photos, wishes & maybe something from her sack

  • Mrs Claus swapping sleigh bells for a cheeky burlesque

  • Secret Santa mingle (singles bring a $5 wrapped gift to play with other singles)

  • Ugly jumper showdown competition (or ugly T-shirt if it’s a scorcher)

  • Wrap-your-mate contest (basically, human pass-the-parcel)

  • Spot prizes sprinkled through the night and much more to come!

This isn’t your boss’s Christmas do or your nana’s trifle, it’s The Big Lesbo Christmas Party and if you are part of the FLINTA* community (female-identifying, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, trans, asexual, bisexual, pansexual and other gender minorities) consider yourself a VIP.

Allies are welcome, but only when attending alongside a FLINTA* / sapphic friend.

All profits from Ginger’s tickets, as a not-for-profit, go straight back into creating more safe queer spaces across Aotearoa.

⚓️ Accessibility Note: Due to the boat’s design and toilet facilities, this venue does not have wheelchair access. A sensory space cannot be provided on board because of vessel constrictions. We know this means not everyone can join us, and we acknowledge that with care and aroha. At our other Ginger’s pop-up events we do our best to make accessibility a priority, and we remain committed to creating spaces where our whole community can be included.

This is an 18+ event. 🧡
