Big Questions Little Hearts: How to Talk about Death with Our Children

Lauren Clarke & Rani Foreman are honoured to present a special community workshop designed for parents and caregivers who want to feel more confident when answering life's big questions from little ones.

Conversations about death can catch us off guard, leaving us searching for answers we may not even have ourselves. At times, the delicate task of explaining death comes about because of sad circumstances unfolding around our children. Recognising that life has a beginning, a middle, and an end, we've thoughtfully created this workshop to offer practical support for these tender conversations concerning life’s end with our young children. 

Grounded in Developmental Psychology, the workshop explores children’s understanding of death while also addressing your own feelings about mortality. You’ll be offered practical strategies, easy-to-replicate activities, take-home resources and follow-up support. 

Rather than avoiding or winging these conversations, this workshop will leave you feeling informed and empowered to respond confidently. Most importantly, it nurtures authentic, safe, and truthful exchanges with the children in your life.

The in-person workshop cost of $60.00 includes take-home resources, tea/coffee & follow-up Zoom call in 7-10 days post-workshop. 

NOTE: This workshop is for parents and caregivers - not for children.

This workshop will be held on Saturday, 29th March, 10am – 12pm on the Gold Coast (location to be confirmed). To keep the workshop intimate spaces are limited to 10 attendees.
