Understand the region, explore the trends and find the evidence you need.

What’s happening across Big Rivers and what could it mean for the region’s communities, businesses and organisations?

Join RDA NT and .id (Informed Decisions) for an informative and practical two-hour session exploring where the Big Rivers region is today, what’s changing and the tools available to help you better understand it.

We’ll start with a State of the Region snapshot, looking at key population, workforce, industry, economic and community trends and some of the shifts worth watching across Big Rivers.

Then we’ll show you how to put that information to work.

Through a practical introduction to RDA NT’s free Community Profile and Economic Profile tools, you’ll learn how to find and use local information to support:

grant and funding applications
business cases and project development
strategic and service planning
advocacy and investment proposals
understanding your community, workforce and local economy.

Whether you work in business, government, local government, an Aboriginal organisation, the not-for-profit sector or another organisation working across Big Rivers, the session is an opportunity to better understand the region and discover useful tools and evidence to support your work.

RDA NT will host the session in person in Katherine, with our .id (Informed Decisions) economist joining live online to present the regional insights and guide participants through the tools.

Want to follow along? Feel free to bring your laptop and explore the tools during the session. You’re also very welcome to simply come along, listen and learn more about what’s happening across Big Rivers and the resources available to support your work.
